My heart going boom, Boom, BOOM

I forgot how long three minutes was. The hills didn’t help either, but I manipulated my route enough so my last three minute set was mostly downhill. That didn’t keep me from moving along the road like a newborn calf.

After two weeks, I still don’t have the hang of running downhill. My uphill strides aren’t much prettier, but they feel more correct … to me at least. Trying to run with better form doesn’t allow me to run more confidently either, but working on developing good form now seems much better than continuing to re-enforce bad habits. Just like in disc golf.

A tune from one of my favorite songwriters seems appropriate.
